About Me

I’m a mum of three amazing children who at times struggle to understand, regulate and communicate with their emotions and even my own.

Passionate to see my children flourish emotionally, physically and mentally stems from a deep belief that nurturing emotional intelligence, body awareness, and self-regulation lays the foundations for a healthy and resilient life. 

Through both extensive research and hands on experience as a parent, I’ve gained valuable insights into how children develop these essential skills. I’ve studied child development theories, explored mindfulness and somatic practices, and observed firsthand how these approaches positively impact my children’s ability to understand and express their emotions, connect with their bodies, and navigate challenges with confidence. 

As a parent, my passion for staying fit and well goes far beyond just physical health, it’s about showing up as my best self for my family.  Parenthood is demanding, and it’s easy to put our own needs last, but I’ve learned that taking care of myself- through movement, nutrition, rest and mindfulness is not a luxury, it’s necessity.  When I’m well, I have more energy, patience, and joy to share with my children.  Prioritising my health sets a positive example for them and helps me navigate the beautiful chaos of parenting with strength and balance.

This journey has not only strengthened my commitment to my children’s well-being but also empowered me to be a more intentional and responsive guide in their growth.
